2022 Season


After we were forced to cancel all our concerts  booked for our 2020-21 Season due to Covid, we are delighted that 6 of  those we had to cancel have agreed to come and perform for us in 2022.  The season starts on February 8th and there will be monthly concerts ending in June.


Tickets will be available on the door, on the night, at Hobbs House Bakery, Chipping Sodbury High Street, or via ticketsource (a small booking fee will apply).

Leo Popplewell - Cello

Supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust, we are delighted to welcome the dynamic and versatile cellist Leo Popplewell.  In 2019 he was winner of the Coro Nuovo Young Musician of the Year Competition.

He has been broadcasting regularly on BBC Radio 3 and has performed in many of the world’s leading concert halls – Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall and South Bank Centre.

Helen ReidPiano

Former BBC Young Musician keyboard finalist, Helen Reid presents Visions of Night – solo piano music inspired by Poulenc, Schumann, Britten, Debussy, Butler and Samuel.  Helen gives recitals all around England and Europe.

Fitzroy String Quartet

Winners of the Beethoven Prize at the 2nd International Beethoven Chamber Music Competition, the Fitzroy Quartet formed at the Royal Academy of Music in 2014.

They are proud participants in the Pro Quartet European Chamber Music Academy and perform regularly in the UK and abroad.

Lauren Scott – Harp

Her passion for the lever harp inspires her interpretations of atmospheric works by 20th century composers, ranging from John Cage and Peter Maxwell Davies to Lennon and McCartney, as well as her own ambient compositions. A recipient of PRS Foundation Women Make Music scheme.
