UK Registered Charity No. 1005346
founded 1947

Founded in 2006, the Kammerphilharmonie Europa is an independent orchestra with a focus on classical music that brings together committed musicians with the aim of forming an artistically demanding ensemble even without a permanent sponsorship. Based just outside Cologne, they now employ over 60 talented professional musicians from currently 18 nations.
The Kammerphilharmonie Europa last played in Chipping Sodbury in October 2024 and played an excellent, very well received concert and we are looking forward to their return visit.

Classic FM 'Rising Star' Rob Burton and award-winning pianist Mark Rogers met while studying at the Royal Academy of Music. Their recitals explore the saxophone’s remarkable versatility, blending classic transcriptions, hidden gems, and jazz-classical crossover repertoire.
