Carys Gittins (flute), Agnieszka Żyniewicz (viola) and Lise Vandersmissen (harp) 



The Aglica Trio, winners of the Supernova Chamber Competition 2024, present a varied programme with music by Claude Debussy, Jacques Ibert, Barbara Strozzi, Hilary Tann, and music that was written especially for them. The three nationalities of the trio are represented in the programme: Wales, Poland and Belgium. 


Living in London, performing worldwide, championing new music - the Aglica Trio is known for their vibrant energy, breaking boundaries and innovative programming.

Unfortunately, harpist Lise Vandersmissen is unable to play at this concert and all of us at Chipping Sodbury Music Society wish her every best wish.


In her place we will be delighted to welcome the award winning harpist,

Heather Brooks.
