Maxim Calver - cello
Praised for the "elegance of his technique and natural poeticism" (Strad Magazine), Maxim Calver was a BBC Young Musician 2018 Grand Finalist and Strings Category Winner. He presents a recital alongside pianist Kumi Matsuo who has enjoyed multiple competition success and is a regular recitalist.

Since then, this versatile chamber choir has thrilled audiences throughout the UK and abroad, performed with the Three Tenors, appeared on television, recorded several CDs, and toured China. This year they will be performing an eclectic mix of heart-warming Christmas music [for us] under their Music Director Benjamin Kirk, before hosting their own Christmas concert in Bath Abbey under the baton of the inimitable John Rutter.
